My interest in photography began not behind the camera, but in front of it. Like many people, I was the biggest critic of my own portraits. I had the tendency to believe that I was not that photogenic and therefore was constantly analyzing every light situation in relation to my face and body as well as my poses. I soon realized that this technique of trying to perfect my own pictures could work for me in other areas as well.
I know what it is like to be photographed and how uncomfortable it can be. Gradually I moved to the other side of the camera and found that I have an ability to draw people out of their shells in most cases. I see beauty in all things!
